Last Day in Nanning (but who is counting?!)

Hi Everyone!

Today is our last day here in Nanning, China! We can't wait to get to Guangzhou and the White Swan Hotel. This morning when we woke up, it was kind of rainy outside and very humid!  We headed down to breakfast, (our last day of canned peaches and toast!) and then went out to the People's Parks which is a 5 minute walk behind our hotel. It is a very beautiful and large park. When we first entered we walked by a group of people who were singing together. Dad got some good video of it, as it sounded to us like Mom & Kara doing their opera thing!

There is a amusement park called Happy Times inside the park which we walked through. There must have been a field trip there today, because there were all these little kids who were there! Unfortunately w

hen we got the camera out to take pictures, the whole lens fogged up! 

Then we went over to fish pond and fed them some tortillas (sorry mom, not sure how many more we can stomach, so we fed some of them to the fish). Some of these fish are huge! Then we came back to the hotel and had our delicious lunch of chicken noodle soup and peanut butter tortillas (AGAIN)! 

Dad washed some of Quinn's clothes, which weren't drying so he concocted  a dryer system out of one of our space saver bags and the hair dryer here at the hotel - it actually works really well! Thanks Tad (Pennsylvania) for the idea. 

We are just about to put Quinn down for her nap. Tonight our flight leaves at 8:20 for Guangzhou. Please pray that it leaves on time without any delays like we had getting here -- as said earlier, we can't wait to get there!
